my random thoughts on life...

1. school is okay. not too great, but not bad either.

2. basketball is wonderful. i am having a fabulous time. i love megan. and my team.

3. facebook is better than xanga.

4. amanda and julia are fun. we dance and sing and shoot each other.

5. i hate english class.

6. God is good.

7. i am reading a good book. but i don't agree with everything in it for sure. but he's an interesting guy. the irresistible revolution. by shane claiborne. read it.

8. i love listening to music. almost any kind.

9. i wish i was a photographer. i just think they are so cool and artistic.

10. kate is in england. i wish i was with her.

11. i never do homework. this is not good.

12. i do not like shallowness.

13. i better gets lots of comments.

14. this is the end of my random thoughts. for now.

this week has gone relatively good... school is okay, i guess. basketball is great, even though we've lost the last two games. i hate losing. but the team is amazingly fun.

i love weekends...

yesterday we had a relatively hard practice... lots of running and boxing out, which was definitely necessary. then i stayed for a little of the guy's soccer game, and went home and chilled the rest of the night.

today... woke up early and went out for breakfast with the fam. me, ben, and kate went to the c-stone girls soccer game, cuz alana plays for madonna. it was freezing, but definitely fun to see a bunch of camp people...

then they all came over again tonight to eat dinner and chill. it was a good time.

kate is leaving tomorrow for chicago, and is flying to england on monday. i will miss her soooo much. :(

facebook is the new xanga, by the way. but i will be occasionally visiting xanga too.

i feel like God is continually reminding me how good he is... i had no idea what this summer would hold, and it was amazing. i was able to spend time at home, and be able to be at camp a ton too... i've been able to hang out with some amazing people these past few months-- from school, camp, and other places. and my family is still amazing. God gives us challenges. and helps us get through them. my mom starts radiation on tuesday... pray for her, and for uncle tom.

k, i guess it's time for an update... not that i have too much to say.

we won our second game last night.. it feels good to be undefeated. we didn't play as great as i thought we should have, but oh well. at least we won. and we were supposed to have practice from 7-8:30 this morning, but fortunately coach cancelled it. hallelujah.

we're leaving soon for muskegon. we're staying there until monday afternoon-- sitting around, reading, swimming (?), sleeping on the beach, and of course, eating. my grandma spoils us.

school starts tuesday. i am not ready for it.

we won our game. it was a blast. this season is going to be sooo great. my team is wonderful!! i love you girls!

i like lists...

1. sunday night we had a birthday party for julie/ sunday sundaes at the feltens... it was fun to see curtis, jay, anna, etc again. we watched drumline. it was fantastic.

2. the party last night was great. it was fun seeing everyone again, but i'm still not looking forward to school. badminton was especially fun. bobert is probably the worst badminton player ever. me and curtis won.

3. we have a game tonight. [you should come.] i'm pretty excited for it. it will be interesting to see if we're any good. i absolutely love my team.

4. my mom is doing great. almost done with all the side effects of chemo. i'm so glad we are done with all of that. she is looking forward to having hair again.

5. me and kali made peanut butter cookies yesterday. they were delicious. i love kali.

1. julie has officially moved in. she has been over a lot with lisa, val, and mark. it is going to be a fun fall with her and val both around.

2. we went bowling yesterday with jarod, kali, me, kate, ben, robbie, lisa, and julie. my score-- 70.

2. basketball is still fantastic. our first game is on tuesday at home. which means you should all come. 5:30. and i think we might actually be good.

3. frisbee golfing today at riverside.

4. the vanderbents came over tonight. it was a good time, as usual. a delicious dinner, hopscotch :), dessert, and a crazy game of balderdash. our creative minds were put to work.

5. weekends are great.
